Description
Summary:The goal of this study is to give a precise description of human hippocampal anatomy in view of neurosurgical progress and the abundance of medical imaging. The book hence includes an atlas of hippocampal sections (coronal, horizontal, sagittal) and dissections. In addition to purely structural details, however, it would appear useful to provide a survey of the structure, connexions and functions of the hippocampus, to augment understanding of its complex organization.
