Description
Summary:Lorne Ladner works with a woman who is approaching retirement age and has had some recent health problems. She is experiencing stress related to increased competition at work, concern about further health problems, and the sense that time is passing and she is unsure what the future will hold. She would like to retire but for financial reasons is not yet ready to take that step. A lifetime of caring for others and putting them first has made the realization of her own dreams seem impossible. Ladner questions her and points out that the anxiety and sadness she feels is the natural consequence of unrealized dreams. He helps her consider how she might realize her dreams and explores the consequences of ignoring them.
