The work was to have comprised 30 livraisons, but, owing to the death of the author, only 15 appeared. The 15th (pages 241-276) was brought out by J.G. Audinet-Serville.
The present volume appears to be the first livraison (24 pages out of 276, 6 leaves of plates out of 24).
