Description
Summary:Nancy M. Petry works with a 20-year-old male who wants to get control over his gambling before he turns 21 and is allowed on casino boats. He currently gets most of his income from gambling, playing Texas Hold-Em poker 4 to 5 times per week. Petry has several self-assessments for him to fill out as well as forms which he can use to track his gambling. The self-assessment asks him to identify negative aspects of his gambling, positive things about reducing his gambling, warning signs to identify when his gambling might be getting out of control, and internal and external gambling triggers. One form is a daily log of his gambling triggers and how he responds to them and the other is a "Days of Gambling Abstinence" chart in which he tracks the days he does and does not gamble.
