| Summary: | Dr. Jon Carlson continues therapy with a middle aged woman who wants to learn better coping skills for dealing with stress. Dr. Carlson begins this session by asking how she feels therapy has been going so far, and she says that it has helped her make real improvements in her stress level. She has been able to fit in her support group and some downtime and time with friends since the last session. She mentions that she doesn't like doing things for herself by herself, she prefers to include others. Dr. Carlson suggests she actually physically schedule time into her days just for herself. He also asks about her marriage and suggests that she schedule time for nurturing that relationship with some couple time as well. They also discussed way to deal with the feelings that come about when people who are supposed to be supportive fail to be there and how to let those people know that you are hurt or angered and why, in a constructive and positive manner.
