Summary:In Venezuela, 7 million children live in poverty, 4 million suffer from chronic malnutrition, 3 million do not go to school and 600,000 are abandoned. Violent death among minors are part of daily life. Many are results of vengeance, family violence and death at the hands of law enforcement. The most elementary human rights are violated in children's detention centers where adequate meals are lacking and diseases go unattended. Oliver is a child thrown out of his home by his alcoholic stepfather. Just like many others, he learns to survive in any way he can and is always living on the edge of death.
