Description
Abstract:"A single gravity corer was constructed with a frame assembly that was used to obtain intact cores for micro-electrode measurements. Sediment cores were taken in fine sand and clay sediment without noticeable disturbance of the sediment-water interface. The sampler can collect sediment cores up to 30 cm, can be handled easily by two people, is relatively inexpensive ($US 1,200), and can be used in water depths up to 50 m"--Abstract.
