The title page of this edition has "natural", "Honourable", and "Ri. Davis". Fulton's Oxford issue: B, this edition is a line-by-line resetting of the 1664 2nd edition (Fulton 51, London issue: A, which has "naturall", "Honorable", and "Ric. Davis").
The first edition (volume 1, in 2 pts.) was published in 1663; a second edition (volume 1, in 2 pts.) was published in 1664, and another 2nd edition (volume 1, in 2 pts., described herewith) with 1664 imprint was published in 1671. A "second tome" (volume 2, in 6 pts.) was published in 1671. Volume 2. is often found bound with the 1671 edition of volume 1.
The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy contains a booksellers description and notes in Danish by Helwerskov.
"Second edition of the first volume; first edition of the second volume. ... with the arms of the Danish lawyer and High Court Judge Christian Herman Helwerskov."-Booksellers description.
The parentheses in the edition statement appear as square brackets on the title page.
