| Item Description: | Limited edition of 100 copies. The Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection copy is number47 and is signed by the author. "The marbled papers for this book have been made by me in the summers of 1983 and 1984. Later the text; the translation is by Roger Andrews, Tanya and Hans Schmoller. In 1985 the text was set ... During the winter, when marbling was impossible, I bound the books. They have a calf leather spine and a harnass-leather binding with laced little leather straps, after the old Dutch style of binding. The title in the leather has been scorched letter by letter"--Colophon. Issued in slipcase. Purchased for the Cushing Library/Laughlin Collection by The Cushing Library. |
