Includes bibliographies (p. 31-37 and throughout) and statistical analyses (tables, p. 93-111) of the effects of economic change on indices of pathology, including mortality rates for cardiovascular-renal diseases, cirrhosis, suicide and homicide, mental hospital admissions, and rates of criminal activity and imprisonment. |
