Examines nature of lunar and asteroid natural resources, and describes space technology developments necessary for resources exploration. Analyzes Moon Treaty possible limits on commercial exploration, and reviews related foreign policy and international law considerations.
Appendices (p. 469-516) include U.S. and foreign government proposals for a draft moon treaty, 1967-79.
