Introductory materials contain: Chapters I through V provide examples of executive orders, and notes outlining aspects of Presidential decisionmaking in the following categories: executive orders prescribing procedures and responsibilities in emergencies, in time of war or armed hostilities, concerning domestic disorders, and relating to strikes (p. 139-206).
