Description
Summary:"On October 5, 1995, in the Church of San Domenico in Alba, Italy the Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti (CSI) performed a concert in honor and memory of Beppe Fenoglio. The album La terra, la guerra, una questione privata (The earth, the war, a private matter), documenting the live performance, was released in January 1998 when the band was enjoying moments of the greatest success but was withdrawn a few months later because, as they said, "is not an economic issue, it is a private matter." Today, the album was re-released remastered, with an accompanying DVD, containing the documentary Un giorno di fuoco (A day of fire), filmed testimony of that evening by director Guido Chiesa, and the Sul 45° parallelo (On the 45th parallel) by Davide Ferrario."--OndaRock.
