Written and edited by Richard Steele and others, this is a resurrected version of Steele's earlier periodical entitled 'The Englishman. Being a sequel to The Guardian', published between October 1713 and February 1714. Imprint from undated colophon. Note in first column of text: "[the paper] shall hereafter come out every Monday and Friday". At foot of first column: Price three half-pence.
