Title spelling varies slightly. Below title on first few issues: Collected by the same hand which heretofore drew up the Kingdoms weekly intelligencer. Imprint from colophon. Imprints vary; other names include: Robert Ibbitson, John Clowes; from Jan. 1651-May 1655 the usual printer was Francis Neile; from May-Sept. 1655 the printer was A. Neile, probably Francis Neile's widow. Some imprints lacking. After two false starts the newsbook began continuous publication in Dec. 1650; "when it came back, it was for almost five years of continuous existence." Cf. Frank.
