Edited by William Harrison (a protege of Jonathan Swift), and ran for six issues, number 1-6 (13 Jan.-30 Jan. 1711). Harrison subsequently began to edit Morphew's continuation. Cf. McLeod. A rival publication by Ann Baldwin to Morphew's continuation of this title after Addison and Steele had ceased to be associated with it; on 3 Feb. 1711 she apparently became an alternative printer to the John Morphew series, with the same text and numbering for number 285-330 (cf.
