Many stories have been told about these beings, but how did the very first one come to be? In the world created by this author, the blood drinkers were actually descended from the Adam just like the mortals of today. What if the stories about Cain and Abel weren't all true? What if Cain wasn't actually cursed but given the task of protecting the Tree of Life? These questions and more helped to inspire the story behind some of the poems in this collection. |
