Letter from the Secretary of the Army transmitting a letter from the Chief of Engineers, Department of the Army, dated October 2, 1961, submitting a report, together with accompanying papers and an illustration, on Oroville project, Feather River, California. This investigation was made in response to a resolution adopted September 21, 1956, by the Committee on Public Works of the United States Senate, and to items in the Flood Control Act of 1958 which call for studies to determine the allocation of costs to and economic justification for flood control features incorporated in the Oroville project proposed to be constructed by the State of California.
