H.R. 15848 and 15 identical bills, to extend the Clean Air Act for three years, require Interior Dept to establish national ambient air quality standards, strengthen controls over motor vehicle emissions, and establish standards for dangerous emissions for stationary sources. H.R. 15847 and 13 identical bills, the Wastes Reclamation and Recycling Act of 1970, to extend the Solid Waste Disposal Act for three years and to authorize CEQ to study solid waste reclamation and recycling techniques.
