Summary:Committee Serial No. 91-2. Conducts investigation to appraise damage inflicted by series of natural disasters and effectiveness of works constructed by Army Corps of Engineers to mitigate such damage; to evaluate effectiveness of Government agencies' response to these disasters; and to determine how to facilitate more effective responses by Government agencies and to identify additional public works projects which may be required in the future. Hearings were held in Sacramento, Calif., on Feb. 11; in Madera, Calif., on Feb. 12; and in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 13, 1969.
