Summary:Considers. S. 3136 and similar H.R. 12135, the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1962, to authorize FY64 and FY65 Federal primary and secondary highway construction for assistance to families displaced by road construction. S. 1159 and related S. 2907, S. 2529, and S. 3590, to increase construction authorizations for forest recreation and access roads, the Rama Road and the Inter-American Highway. S. 1110 and related S. 3190, to make technical amendments to U.S. Code regarding definition of "construction" and use of calendar year instead of fiscal year in Federal highway appropriations. S. 2982, to ensure that persons displaced by highway construction will be provided adequate housing. S. 2767, to require Interior Dept approval of all highway construction surveys and estimates which affect fish and wildlife resources. S. 2780, to authorize use of land designated for Federal defense and interstate highway construction for use in metro passenger rail systems in cases where interests do not conflict.
