Summary:Committee Serial J. Considers. H.R. 2210, the Wheat and Feed Grain Act of 1965, to amend the Agriculture Act of 1949, the Food and Agriculture Act of 1962, and the Soil Bank Act to establish a program of cropland retirement and to improve the management of wheat and feed grain production. Twenty-one similar bills are also considered. H.R. 4140, to amend the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938 and the Agriculture Act of 1964 to establish a voluntary program of price parity for wheat. H.R. 7097, the Food and Agriculture Act of 1965, to amend the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938, the Agriculture Act of 1949, the National Wool Act of 1954, the Soil Bank Act, and the Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act to make certain changes in the wheat, rice, and wool commodity marketing programs, to extend and expand the soil conservation and acreage allotment programs, and to expand agricultural exports.
