Eradication of Mediterranean fruit fly. Communication from the President of the United States transmitting proposed legislation affecting an existing appropriation which would enable the Secretary of Agriculture to meet the grave emergency due to the presence of the Mediterranean fruit fly in certain sections of the State of Florida by making available $4,250,000 until June 30, 1930, for necessary expenses in connection with the eradication, control, and prevention of the spread of this pest.
