Mississippi River, revetment of banks below Cairo, Ill. Letter from the Secretary of War, transmitting, with a letter from the Acting Chief of Engineers, report on the localities and quantities of revetment required for the complete treatment of said river below Cairo, Ill., with an estimate of the cost thereof, together with a statement of the amounts expended by the United States Government in the construction of levees, the amounts expended by states, levee districts, and communities interested, and the quantity of land which will be reclaimed or protected by revetment or other work done by the United States exclusively.
