The wedding of Palo, Nanook's obvious successor, is the last beautiful work of the famed Danish polar explorer and anthropologist Dr. Knud Rasmussen. Traditional eskimo culture is embodied in this early ethnographic film of life in Greenland focusing around the contest between two rivals for the love of an Inuit woman.
