Report from the Secretary of the Treasury, in compliance with a resolution of the Senate of the 10th instant, showing unexpended balances of appropriation on the first day of each year from 1817 to 1827, amount of surplus money above sums appropriated at the adjournment of Congress from 1817 to 1827, and in what years of said term any part of said surplus and how much was paid into the Sinking Fund.
