Report In part, of the Select Committee appointed, on the 18th February last, to inquire into the propriety of a retrenchment of the expenditures of the government, accompanied with a bill altering the compensation of the members of Congress, and delegates of territories; and, also, the salaries of the clerks, and doorkeepers, &c. of each House of Congress.
