| Summary: | Esteban Peicovich hosts a discussion between Javier Adúriz, Edgardo Pígoli, and Jorge Aulicino. Pígoli is the director for the collection of books El Pez Naufrago, in which Aulicino has authored La linea del coyote. Adúriz is the director for the literary magazine El Leon en el Bidet. The three writers have a discussion rooted from a previously transcribed dialogue that was published in the magazine La Guacha. Peicovich first summarizes this dialogue and Adúriz reads its commencement. Adúriz expresses his divided opinion about the dual identity of a reader and poet. Aulicino suggests that this identity is not as important at the structure of society. Pígoli shares his thoughts on what poetry is like and Adúriz reexpresses the importance of the reader in the understanding of poetry. Aulicino counters Adúriz's idea and Pígoli challenges one aspect of it. The three writers continue the discussion into the marketing and exposure of poetry. |
