Summary:Esteban Peicovich interviews essayist and journalist Julio Nudler. Nudler was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1941 and received his degree in Political Economics at the University of Buenos Aires. He was once editor for the Economics section of La Opinion and later a correspondent for Clarin while in Spain. In 1990 he became an editor for Pagina 12. Besides his columns on Economics, he has published articles and critiques on tango. Nudler has recently published Tango Judio: Del ghetto a la milonga, a book about tango in the Jewish community. Nudler talks about various aspects of his career as an economic journalist. He talks about politics, objectivity, subjectivity, what he enjoys about his work, information analysis, the loss of artistic dimension in journalism, and about journalistic approach. Peicovich gives a brief description about Nudler's book, Tango Judio. Nudler talks about his interest in tango and shares what he hopes to transcend through his book. He explains the relationship between tango and a Jew, and reads his own work.
