Esteban Peicovich interviews architect, literary author, screenwriter, and journalist Gustavo Bernstein. Bernstein was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1966. He has collaborated with various newspapers in the country and was director and screenwriter for the film Sudacas. He talks about his passion for traveling and how it is separate from his writing. He also explains how he dislikes tourism in spite of his love for travel. Bernstein explains the subtitle of his work La Patria Peregrina: Apuntes de un viaje al continente del hombre blanco and the purpose behind this work. Peicovich reads a review of Bernstein's work. Peicovich recites Jorge Luis Borges' list of the top ten most beautiful words and quotes the last words of various important entities, including those of his own uncle. |
