He tells of his work El palacio de septiembre (1999), which is about his studying and fraternity while in college in La Plata, Argentina. He also tells of what his Sunday has been like and his family's familiarity with his work. Peicovich reads the first poem of Argentina, written by Spaniard Luis de Miranda. Peicovich interviews journalist Patricia Rojas, author of Los pibes del fondo: Delincuencia urbana: Diez historias. Rojas was born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1970 and studied Communication Science at the University of Buenos Aires. Rojas collaborates with various magazines and newpapers, and has collaborated on a book on the biography of Carlos Chacho Alvarez. She has also received awards for her research on teens and drugs. Rojas shares of the journalistic work where she drew inspiration from. She explains how she was able to get the initial story and where she went from there. Rojas also shares some of the information that she learned through her research. Peicovich reads the inside cover of Rojas' work. Rojas shares of the time she was in danger and she had to struggle with the decision to continue her research. She also reads a fragment of her work. Currently, Rojas is the editor for the sections Society and Politics for the magazine Tres Puntos, and is doing research over the Jewish colonies in the central areas of the country. |
