| Summary: | Esteban Peicovich continues his interview with Igor Barreto. Barreto reads two of his poems whose titles he owes to Marin Sorescu, Oracion a la Mona Lisa and La Bolsa con los Granos, both from his work Soy el muchacho mas hermoso de esta ciudad. Peicovich presents the history behind the recent edition of Guia del mundo: El mundo visto desde el sur. He interviews the book's editor, Roberto Elisalde. This book has been published in Spanish, English, Italian, Danish, Portuguese, and coming soon in Catalan. Elisalde shares the creation of the initial edition of this book and how the guide evolved. He also shares what is different about the newest edition of the work and how it was previously amplified. Elisalde talks about information overload and the necessary discerning of information applied to the guide they used to reach their desired intent. Peicovich shares additional contextual information about the book and Elisalde tells about the differences he discovered in other cultures in regard to habits, ideals, objectives and dynamics, through his book. |
