Summary:Igor Barreto recites a poem entitled Regreso, Regreso from an unedited and untitled work. He also recites Leyendo el poema Reminiciensias from his work Soy el muchacho mas hermoso de esta ciudad. Esteban Peicovich interviews Barreto. Barreto was born in San Fernando, Venezuela in 1952 and resided in Romania for several years. He was once part of the literary workshop Calicanto and was co-founder of the Venezuelan group Trafico. Barreto studied film and drama. He reads another poem entitled Una minima piedra and shares anecdotes about his hometown. He also talks about the lonely period in his life while studying and of Spanish Venezuelan philosopher Federico Riu. Barreto also talks about his fascination with poet Marin Sorescu. He gives his two cents on the status of Venezuelan poetry and explains the topics his work has consisted up until now.
