Description
Summary:Esteban Peicovich commemorates deceased Anthony Quinn and Arturo Mali. He also reads a lengthy article by Spanish Sociology Professor Enrique Gil Calvo entitled Vidas Legibles. Peicovich interviews writer and taxi driver Edgardo Radovinich, (whom Peicovich discovered while riding in his cab). Radovinich has authored a book entitled Las maximas cotidianas para el senor Tarito for his own child. He tells of his son's literacy and of the state in which he believes people are born. He also tells of what he feels it is important to teach as a parent and explains why he toasts to culture, company, and peace. Radovinich reads an excerpt from his previously mentioned work. Peicovich talks about Chinese philosopher Confucius and Greek philosopher Socrates. He replays an interview with Guillermo Mina. Mina is a Colombian philosopher and psychiatrist. He talks about Socrates and how his philosophy would have perhaps been proper for radio or television. He describes Socrates' listening and questioning skills, and how his approach created culture as we know it.
