He and Peicovich discuss the lack of motivation and values in contemporary society, needed to create another reformation for the bettering of the world. He also explains what social changes are occurring that were previously implemented by reformers. Biagini talks about the attitudes that have been detrimental to reform. He also shares what he will be up to over the next few weeks. Peicovich interviews professor and author Mónica Virasoro, whom has recently published Los Griegos en escena. Virasoro has a Bachelors degree in Letters, a License in Philosophy, and a Masters in Social Sciences. She currently teaches Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and is part of a research team for CONICET, working on the issue of truth in Friedrich Nietzsche. Peicovich reads the inside cover review of Virasoro's Los Griegos en escena. Virasoro tells of how this book got started and of the main idea behind it. She discusses the origins of philosophy and describes what the Sophists were all about. She also emphasizes how philosophy is relevant to everyday life and of how it can apply differently in a new age. |
