Description
Summary:Esteban Peicovich reads texts by Alonso Geronimo de Salas Barbadillo and a prologue written by Miguel Cervantes de Saavedra. Peicovich interviews Leopoldo Brizuela Raúl Vieytes, and Pedro Mairal. Vieytes was born in 1961 and has authored various humorous texts and theatrical works based on journalistic news. Brizuela is a 36-year-old poet and literature professor in La Plata, Argentina. He also coordinates the literary workshop Madres de Plaza de Mayo. Mairal was born in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1970 and studied Letters in El Salvador where he currently is a professor. Brizuela expresses his love for language, poetry, and storytelling. Vieytes tells why he writes and Mairal tells about his writing approach. Mairal also shares his discontent at contemporary Argentine poetry, which he believes contains an anti-poetic sentiment. Vieytes tells of how this came to be and Brizuela shares his positive opinion on the situation. Vieytes, Brizuela, and Mairal each tell about the content and creation of their works, Kelper, Inglaterra: Una fabula, and Una noche con Sabrina Love, respectively. They each also mention two of their favorite authors.
