| Summary: | Esteban Peicovich interviews Alejandra Zina. Zina was born in Palermo Viejo, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1973. She pursued her studies in Letters at the University of Buenos Aires. She currently does research and essays on Argentine Literature. Zina is also collaborates with magazines El Ojo Mocho and El Matadero, and she is part of the magazine's group Esena Contemporana. Zina shares the idea behind her latest work Erotica Argentina, which she prologued and compiled. She tells of the several topics that are covered under the exotic and the erotic. She explains the how and why she chose the texts in this compiled work. Zina talks about the work of Cambaceres, Sarmiento, Lusac, and Enrique Lareta. Peicovich reads a few lines out of the prologue from Zina's latest work. Zina has done work about Paul Groussac, Roberto Arlt, Leopoldo Lugones, Juan Jose Saer, Diana Bellessi, and several other authors. She currently lives in Almagro, Buenos Aires, Argentina. |
