Description
Summary:Esteban Peicovich reads fragments from Cuban poet Cintio Vitier's Palabras a la arides. He also reads two short stories from Spanish poet Rafael Perez Estrada's El jardin del unicornio. Peicovich interviews Venezuelan writer Yolanda Pantin, born in 1954. She studied Visual Arts at the Fine Arts School of Aragua State and Letters at the Catholic University Andres Bello. She completed the literary workshop Calicanto, co-founded the group Trafico, and funded the publishing house Pequena Venecia. Pantin tells about her experience in Buenos Aires and compares its geographies and language with that of Caracas, Venezuela, where she currently lives. She explains how her early experience living in a rural area marks her poetry. She also explains how her poetic work came about and how it now serves as a cathartic function for her. Pantin and Peicovich discuss the influence of societal occurrences on literary work. Pantin reads poems Cabeza corona: Leslie Stephens and La epica del padre: Museo Freud from her unedited work La epica del padre.
