Octavio Carlevaro has been a philosophy professor and journalist, teaching at various schools and writing for Argentine newspaper La Opinion. Peicovich reads the inside cover of Saludos. Elsa explains the title variety in her husband's work. She explains the way in which he set up his stories and what that demonstrates. She also talks about her husband's upbringing and its impact on his work. Peicovich reads two notes written by Octavio Carlevaro on December 31st and a text by Mexican writer José Emilio Pacheco. Peicovich interviews Pacheco. Pacheco was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He talks about the chaos of books he carries and of the state of poetry in Mexico and Argentina. He also tells of his initial interest in literature and of the important role Argentine literature played for him. Pacheco explains the order of writing styles he has written in. He mentions his first book La sangre de Medusa and explains why writers do not often vary in the genres they write. |
