| Summary: | A recording of Chilean poet Gonzalo Rojas reciting his own work is played. Esteban Peicovich interviews storyteller Lázaro Covadlo. Covadlo was born in La Paternal, Buenos Aires Argentina in 1936. However, he has resided in Catalunya, Spain for over 20 years now. There, he works for El Periodico, the daily newspaper of Catalunya. Covadlo also collaborates with the magazine Que Leer? and does some editorial work. He expresses what his return to Argentina has been like and how it has always been inspiring. He also tells of where he lived growing up and of the circumstances surrounding him. Peicovich reads a review of Covadlo's work and Covadlo explains how he feels about his own work. Covadlo explains his ultimate goal when reading and writing. He and Peicovich discuss other authors and their writing approach. Covadlo reads a prologue he wrote to somebody's work about Herman Melville, author of Moby Dick. |
