Summary:Esteban Peicovich interviews painter Daniel Jacubovich. Jacubovich has been professor of Design and Color Theory at the School of Higher Education of Sabadell in Barcelona, Spain for 15 years. He talks about his childhood in Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He specifically discusses the relationship his father had with neighbor and painter Juan del Prete and of the impact it had on him. Jacubovich tells of his current personal and professional life in Barcelona. He and Peicovich discuss the relationship between color and mankind. Jacubovich explains the function and purpose color serves for him and how it is interpretive of what we are and what we experience. He also explains how color is not necessarily a cultural construction, and of the energy and thermic transmission of color.
