Esteban Peicovich talks about the content of the magazine Barataria and of international literary magazine, Las Dos Mil y Una Noches. Peicovich also commemorates French artists Marcel Duchamp. Peicovich interviews Paulina Vinderman. Vinderman was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1944. She studied Chemistry and Art History at the University of Buenos Aires. Vinderman has won the third Buenos Aires Municipal Award, been included in various anthologies, and has been translated into various languages. She talks about how her book, Bulgaria, came to be, and of how she became familiar with the content she used in the book. Vinderman talks about her experience as a child which led her to believe she would become an author, and of when she realized she was particularly meant to be a poet. She reads a few brief poems from Bulgaria. Vinderman has published, Los espejos y los puentes (1978), La otra ciudad (1980), La mirada de los heroes (1982), La balada de Cordelia (1984), and Escalera de incendio (1994), none which are discussed. |
