Summary:Esteban Peicovich quotes the last words of various important entities such as Lord Byron, Laurence Sterne, Katherine Mansfield, Confucius, G.K. Chesterton, Victor Hugo, Isaac Newton, Joseph Conrad, and various others. Peicovich interviews poet, essayist, licensed journalist, and university professor Osvaldo Ferrari. Ferrari was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1948. He lived outside of the country for ten years in Canada, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain, where he gave conferences and organized diverse cultural activities. During 1984 and 1985 Ferrari had the opportunity to meet with Borges on Radio Municipal. Ferrari talks about how his relationship with Jorge Luis Borges came to be and describes what their encounters were like. Ferrari explains how Borges' speech style related to his writing style. He talks about influences in Borges' writing style, such as Walt Whitman. Ferrari talks about how he feels since Borges' death. He talks about the process by which he published his dialogues with Borges and of Borges' part in the publishing of their dialogues. Peicovich gives a synopsis of Borges en dialogo.
