Lefebvre and engraved by Louis-Michel Halbou, François Godefroy, Jacques-Joseph Coiny, Jean Dambrun, Louis-Joseph Masquelier "l'Aîné" and Charles-Etienne Stephan Gaucher) appear in this printing reduced in size and placed in oval insets, four of these ovals make up a plate. Each volume contains one of these plates as a frontispiece, signed "Bigant, Sc." (Cf. Suñé Benages, cited below; he give the name as "Bizot"). |
