Summary:Peicovich reads a verse from one of Liliana Ponce's poems. Peicovich interviews Ponce, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1950. She graduated with a degree in Literature, is dedicated to the study of Eastern Legions, and has especially studied Buddhism and Japanese literature and language. Ponce talks about the inability to translate poems and of her ability to speak poetically. She talks about her poetic discipline and writing approach. She also talks about her different social circles and how they treat her as a poet. Ponce discusses her works in progress, Piedra sum and Vaca Antropofagia. Peicovich shares an anecdote from Juan Gelman about an experience he had while visiting the Great Wall of China. Ponce explains what intrigued her to pursue the study of Japanese literature and poetry. She reads from her unpublished book, Teoria de la voz y el sueno. She has published poems and essays in various magazines and newspapers in the country and abroad. Works she has published include, Trama continua (1974), and Composicion (1982). Unedited works that are soon to be published include, Teoria de la voz y el sueno and Fudekara, which is Japanese for from the brush.
