He tells a couple of anecdotes about experiences he shared with Jorge Luis Borges. He recites one of his own poems and explains why writing poetry is such a fundamental part of his life. Castilla explains how one's hometown may not be an influential factor to one's life as a poet and indicates when he wrote his own first poem. He and Peicovich discuss the beauty of banana trees, as his latest book Baniano, is named after one. Castilla reads another one of his own poems about water and rain.
