| Summary: | Esteban Peicovich recites a quote and a poem by Wystan Auden. Peicovich interviews journalist Carlos Alberto Zito, author of El Buenos Aires de Borges. He spent fifteen years in France where he published his first book, El jardin de Luxembourg and worked for the French Press. Peicovich reads a small excerpt from Zito's book El Buenos Aires de Borges. Zito presents some of elements that make Buenos Aires so appealing to foreigners. He gives insight to the day-to-day life of Jorge Luis Borges in his younger years. He tells of neighborhoods that Borges would visit often and also tells about one Borges' his first girlfriends. Zito gives Borges credit for creating the mythology that makes up Buenos Aires. Peicovich reads a paragraph by Borges published in Zito's book and also reads the inside cover review. Zito reads from his work as well. |
