Castillo talks about his brief experience as a boxer and of his father's part in this experience. He talks about his early inclination for literature and his awe for books. Castillo compares his passion for chess and his experience with boxing. One of his first favorite books once he learned to read was Robinson Crusoe. He and Peicovich discuss the message this book has for the youth today. They also discuss the declining impact books have on youth and why. Castillo talks about the different writing approaches among different cultures. He has published various books including, El que tiene sed, Cronica de un iniciado, Las otras puertas, Las panteras y el templo, Las maquinarias de la noche, and Las palabras y los dias, none which are discussed. |
