Description
Summary:A recording of Edgar Bayley reading one of his own poems is played. Esteban Peicovich interviews Manrique Fernández Moreno. Fernández Moreno was born in 1928 in Buenos Aires. He talks about various poets, their writing styles, and their impact. He also talks about the influence 1950's poetry had on him. Fernández Moreno talks about the life and death of poetry and why it's unnecessary to be a full time poet to be able to express yourself effectively. Peicovich talks about the perpetual impact on writing that men such as Christ, who wrote but once, have created. Fernández Moreno reads some of his poems. He's written three poetry books which Peicovich describes in terms of style, Poemas hasta (1951), Beso en automovil (1965), and Pateando un empedrado (1970), which he reads a critique of.
