Description
Summary:Esteban Peicovich plays an excerpt from a previously recorded conversation with Jorge Luis Borges. He talks about the attachment to a loved one, his lack of jealousy, and about his appetite, particular foods he enjoys. Throughout their conversation Borges mentions such entities as Robert Graves and Alexander the Great. Peicovich interviews writers Esteban Charpentier, Ester Pagano, and Marcelo Andres Cunha. The three host an Anti-Fair. Charpentier talks about literature in Argentina and its depreciation, and Cunha gives other reasons for how their Anti-Fair got started. He explains how they only wish to be part of the fair, but don't want it to be controlled by economic marketing interests. Cunha further explains what they actually do for the fair and their underrepresentation in SADE and the National Library. Charpentier expresses other concerns that they feel they are addressing through their Anti-Fair. Pagano talks about the outreach that their organization has made. She lists the propositions and goals that they have for their fair. Each of the authors read poetic works.
